Mazda revealed the 2026 Mazda CX-5 a few days ago to show off its brand-new redesign as the third-generation model built on its premium feel and aesthetics from previous models. The new and improved model features a larger cabin that features innovative, intuitive technology, while also enhancing vehicle safety to craft an SUV that is more capable and dynamic than before.
Although we don't have an official release date for the 2026 Mazda CX-5 yet, it is expected to be released in the U.S in early 2026. Mazda has confirmed the new CX-5 will be released earlier in Europe and is due to be released in late 2025 for European countries.

The 2026 Mazda CX-5 is longer and wider than its predecessor, with a wheelbase that has been extended by 4.5 inches. This has resulted in more rear passenger room and a cargo hold that is about two inches longer. Drivers will be happy to learn that the infotainment system is bigger and better than ever with an available 15.6-inch touchscreen! There are also seven ambient interior lighting color choices. Mazda has also confirmed that the number of standard safety tech features will increase, but hasn't yet detailed the specifics.
